We  design and carve a wide variety of custom and personalized hand-crafted wood and metal dimensional wall and podium plaques of seals, emblems, logos, badges, insignia, memorials and awards for Federal courts and U.S. Attorneys. We offer the highest quality materials and workmanship, great customer service, short turnaround times (typically 30 days from order to shipment), and factory-direct affordable prices to government, commercial, non-profit and consumer clients. We also offer wholesale prices to retailers and re-sellers, and discounts for buys of 3 or more identical plaques. All our plaques are manufactured in the USA  using American-made materials.

We make beautiful and authentic carved natural wood, painted High-Density-Urethane (HDU) Mahogany, and bronze , brass, nickel-silver, and aluminum-plated  wall plaques for many Federal courts, including the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, District Courts, Magistrate Courts, Bankruptcy Courts,  Tax Courts,  Probation Offices, Armed Force Courts, and Department of Justice U.S., Attorney Offices. We have many styles and materials, and can make plaques in sizes from 10 inches to 10 feet in diameter. See Fig 4 on our Overview of Court Plaques web page for a summary of different court plaque styles available. We make more than 100 plaques for Federal Courts, the DOJ Headquarters  and U.S.  Attorneys each year.

PLAQUE STYLES

We offer custom carved 2.5-D, 3-D and engraved dimensional authentic wall and podium plaques of all sizes, from 10 inches to 10 ft  in diameter, which are made from multi-color painted carved High-Density-Urethane (HDU), wood (cedar, redwood, mahogany, walnut, oak, maple, and cherry), and metal-plated HDU (brass, bronze, copper, silver-nickel,  stainless steel, aluminum, 24K gold leaf, and fine silver leaf).  We can make a plaque based on a drawing or photo of a seal, logo or crest, or design you a custom plaque at no charge. We will work with you to design and build the exact wall plaque you want. We also make custom  Attorney signs and plaque, including DOJ,  US Attorneys, and Public Defenders. Over a hundred outside and interior private and government attorney,  lawyer and law office signs, shingles and plaques are shown on our companion website Art Sign Works . 

These plaques can be mounted outside as well as inside. They are suitable for courtrooms, entry lobbies, judge's chambers, and podiums. They can be customized with the name of the court, the judge's name, or any other text or artwork. In addition to this Gallery, we also have webpages for  State Courts, and County/Municipal Courts. Fig. 5 - Large Carved 3-D HDU and Aluminum Great Seal of the United States, gilded with 24K Gold Leaf. We made two of these for the new US District Court of the Middle District of Tennessee, Nashville. These 8 ft diameter plaques are mounted on the top of the front facade of the courthouse.

The various styles of the plaques we make are described in our plaque STYLE section (click on "STYLE" on upper gold masthead). We can also combine materials on a plaque. We often use Mahogany plaque boards and carve 3-D HDU appliques which are either multi-color painted or metal-plated, to mount on the Mahogany. We can cut out text and artwork from thin sheets of aluminum and mount  these on 2.5-D Mahogany or cedar plaques with raised text and art; we call these metal-clad wood plaques.  The contrast between the shiny metal and rough dark wood is striking. We often gild  V-carved text of Mahogany plaques with 24K gold or silver leaf. We can also gild  areas of painted HDU plaques, usually raised text and art. We also make separate cut-out metal, stained wood and painted HDU letters. We can provide a 3-D bas-relief cast bronze and aluminum memorial or living person plaque featuring the face or figure of a justice or judge, etc.  if we are provided a good photograph.  All our plaques are manufactured in the USA by American craftsmen.

CONTENTS OF THIS GALLERY

The 150 custom plaques in the photo Gallery below below are shown in the following order, beginning at the top: Supreme Court, Circuit Court of Appeals, District Courts, Tax Courts, Magistrate Judges, Bankruptcy Courts, and Probation Courts. U.S. Attorney plaques are shown in the bottom section. The plaques below represent bronze, brass, German silver, and aluminum-plated, and gold  & silver-leaf gilded plaques.  There are also a few full-color artist-painted plaques. We also make carved stained Mahogany, Maple, Rosewood and Walnut 3-D carved stained plaques (not shown here, but shown in other Galleries). We can make any custom plaque in any style or color, in any size, with any art and text, and there is no design fee.

PLAQUE  RETAIL PRICES

Our  plaques have wide variations in prices, depending on size and style.  These can be made of different materials, including natural wood, artist-painted High-Density-Urethane (HDU) , metal-coated HDU, and acrylic. Our STYLE page describes these in detail. All 3000 photos of plaques on this website has a Style Category and a Price Code listed in the second or third paragraph in the text description under the photo (click on the photo or title to expand the photo and read the text to get the price code of that plaque, then look up the price for different size plaques with that style on the Price List at the bottom of the PRICE page).   Most of our Federal Court plaques are carved in 3-D relief and are metal-coated, usually bronze, brass, or nickel-silver. Prices range from approximately  $500 (18 inch diameter plaque) to  $1000 (36 inch diameter plaque).  These have Price Categories 1.2.1, 1,2.2.3, and 1,2.7 on the Price list on the price page.  Prices for other lower-price styles are described on the Overview Of Court Plaques page under the  PLAQUE RETAIL PRICES heading.
