Welcome to our photo Gallery for our custom and standard cast bronze and aluminum metal plaques, We design and have foundry partners which cast 3-D or precisely machined 2.5-D custom solid (i.e., not plated) bronze, brass and aluminum wall and podium plaques for courts, federal and state governments, military units, universities, fraternities & sororities, clubs, corporations, and homes. We offer standard models such as the five military seals, and custom plaques where we create the artwork on the plaque. 3-D custom bronze plaques have the highest prices. Next lower in price are the 3-D custom aluminum plaques. The lowest price are solid precisely machined 2.5-D standard aluminum plaques. Machined bronze and brass plaques have higher prices than aluminum plaques. Each plaque is fabricated by experienced and skilled American craftsmen and artisans.

We offer solid cast and precision tooled custom and standard bronze and aluminum engraved, 2.5-D flat two-level relief and 3-D bas-relief plaques, which we have usually have fabricated by a professional nationally known wholesale foundry, Gemini, located in Minnesota. These are the only plaques on this website that we do not fabricate in-house; we design them, but we have a foundry who specializes in pouring molten metal perform the casting or precision milling of these type of metal plaques. We also use other highly-experienced foundries in the US for some projects.
3-D Bas-Relief Cast Bronze & Aluminum Plaques. These plaques are classic and permanent , and will last hundreds of years. They can touched or even walked on , and are more robust than our 3-D metal plated plaques which look similar but will not last as long outside where they can be touched by people or abraded by wind-borne particles. They are ideal for professional offices, universities and government buildings, address plaques, historical markers or memorials. They are tested and approved for outdoor use, as well as indoors. They have a lifetime guarantee.
For casting, a 2.5-D or 3-D computer design of the plaque is first developed, which is used to control a CNC router which carves a foam replica. This replica is then used to create a sand mold, and molten bronze or aluminum is then poured into the mold. After the plaque has cooled, it has any rough edges ground off, and it is polished and coated. Background areas can be given a patina or can be painted. Finishes include brushed, painted, oxidized, patina, and polished, in multiple background textures and colors. Standard borders such as single line, double line, inset line or with beveled edges can also be included at no additional cost. An example of an cast bronze plaque is shown in Fig. 1 .

Precision Tooled Plaques. You can also order precision tooled bronze, brass, or aluminum 2.5-D flat relief plaques. These are precisely machined out a sheet of bronze, brass or aluminum, and can have a variety of shapes, custom artwork, and several flat relief levels. These cannot be made in 3-D bas-relief. Finishes include brushed, painted, oxidized, patina, and polished, in multiple background textures and colors. Standard borders such as single line, double line, inset line or with beveled edges can also be included at no additional cost. Most of the plaques shown in the photo gallery below are precision tooled, including MH9010 to MH9090.
