Chain-of-Command Photo Board for the Cryptologic Warfare Activity of the US Navy
This large Chain-of-Command photo board for the Cryptologic Warfare Activity of the US Navy is carved from African Mahogany. After carving, it is hand sanded and stained to get the dark color. The officers have photos inserted into slide-in wood picture frames with acrylic covers, which can easily be changed-out. The officer and crew position names are engraved in removeable brass plates. The unit name and position titles areainted black at the top is carved in raised relief .The two unit crests "67", and the US Navy Seal are printed giclee vinyl appliques. The gold and silver Navy insignia near the top of the board are carved from HDU in 3-D bas-relief. This plaque is clear-coated twice to protect against the marine environment.
