This Middle East map plaque is engraved. After carving and engraving, it is hand sanded and stained one or more times to get the specified colors, which can range from light to very dark, depending upon which of the 24 Minwax color stains is used, or it can be left natural (no stain). The plaque is then clear-coated twice with Matthews clear polyurethane acrylic .
