WM1240 - US Navy Deployment Plaque, USS George Washington, Personalized, Engraved Dark Stained Mahogany
This deployment plaque for the US Navy CVN George Washington is carved in engraved relief from African Mahogany. After carving, it is hand sanded and stained one or more times to get the specified color, which can range from light to very dark, depending upon which of the 24 Minwax color stains is used. The colored picture is a giclee digitally printed vinyl applique. The plaque is then clear-coated twice with Matthews clear polyurethane acrylic .
