WM1195 - US Army Company Insignia Plaque, Engraved Dark Stained Mahogany
This retirement plaque for Bandit Company of the US Army is carved in engraved relief from African Mahogany. After carving, it is hand sanded and stained one or more times to get the specified color, which can range from light to very dark, depending upon which of the 24 Minwax color stains is used. The artwork is engraved and artist painted with 1-Shot sign enamels. The plaque is then clear-coated twice with Matthews clear polyurethane acrylic .
