WM1011 - Sheriff's Badge, Douglas County, Georgia, Carved 3-D Bas-Relief Mahogany
This plaque of the Sheriff's Badge, Douglas County, Georgia, is carved in 3-D bas-relief. It is precisely carved from African Mahogany. After carving, it is hand sanded and stained one or more times to get the specified color, which can range from light (shown in this photo), depending upon which of the 24 Minwax color stains is used. The plaque is then clear-coated twice with polyurethane clear .
