This memorial plaque for a Police K-9 dog "Buck" is carved in 3-D bas-relief. It is precisely carved in inset 3-D from California Redwood. After carving, it is hand sanded and stained one or more times to get the specified color, which can range from light to very dark, depending upon which of the 24 Minwax color stains is used.
