MA1250 - Bronze-Plated Sculptures and Signs
The miscellaneous bronze-plated plaques, signs and sculptures in this section are carved in 3-D bas-relief or 2.5-D engraved relief. They are plated with real bronze metal, and are polished by hand in elevated areas of the artwork , text and border. Some plaques have hand-rubbed dark bronze or green patina hand-rubbed into the backgrounds and artwork crevices to enhance the contrast with polished areas. The plaques are all clear-coated twice with Matthews clear polyurethane acrylic coating.
