TA3017 - 6 t diameter 3-D Bas-relief Brass-plated Plaque of the Great Seal of the US District Court, Central District of Illinois
This 6 ft diameter wall plaque for the US District Court, Central District of Illinois, is made of High Density Urethane (HDU)) and plated with brass metal. It is carved in 3-D bas-relief. This plaque and similar wall plaques are shown on our Federal Court plaques web page.
This plaque's text , borders and artwork are plated with brass metal, which is polished. The plaque's background is painted by our artists with long lasting dark bronze sign enamel, and then the entire plaque is coated twice with clear polyurethane acrylic . It is secured to the wall with 7 threaded studs inserted into holes drilled into the courthouse wall and filled with construction adhesive.
