This Chain-of-Command photo board for the 25th Operations Support Squadron of the US Air Force is carved from Redwood. After carving, it is hand sanded and stained to get the required color. The officers have photos inserted into slide-in wood picture frames with acrylic covers, which can easily be changed-out. The officer positions and the title at the top of the board are carved in raised relief . The two unit crests at the top are carved in 3-D raised relief and artist-brush painted using long-lasting sign enamels. This plaque is clear-coated twice, and can be placed outside or inside. Plaques of this type are all custom designed and made with sizes ranging from 24 inches to 96 inches wide, depending on the number and sizes of photos , nameplates, and crests.
