Chain-of-Command Board for a USAF Unit
This Chain-of-Command for an Air Force unit is carved from California Redwood. After carving, it is hand sanded and stained to get the required color. The officer and crew names are engraved on brass plates which slide into the acrylic holders shown in the photo, so they can easily be changed out. The three insignia / emblems (DHS, USCG, and shops crest) are carved in 3-D bas-relief from High-Density-Urethane (HDU) and mounted on the plaque.
