Chain-of-Command Photo Board for the US Army 19th Infantry Regiment, "The Rock of Chickamauga"
This large Chain-of-Command Photo Board for the US Army 19th Infantry Regiment, "The Rock of Chickamauga", is carved from African Mahogany. After carving, it is hand sanded and dark stained . The officers have photos inserted into slide-in wood picture frames with acrylic covers, which can easily be changed. The officer position names are carved in raised relief. The unit crest is carved in 2.5-D raised relief and artist-brush painted using long-lasting sign enamels. This plaque is clear-coated twice to protect against the marine environment.
