This Chain-of-Command Board for COMTAGRU ONE, US Navy is carved from Western Red Cedar. After carving, it is hand sanded and stained to get a very dark color. Photos of the Commodore of this Group, and his subordinate Officers are inserted into the replaceable photo frames which have a clear acrylic covers. . The two Tactical Control Air Group (TACGRU) crests are carved in 2.5-D multi-level relief and painted with an artist-brush using long-lasting sign enamels. This Board is clear-coated twice to protect against the marine environment. This Board is also shown in the US Navy plaque photo gallery.
