Commissioning Crew Plaque for Coast Guard Cutter Robert Yered
This plaque is carved in 3-D bas-relief. It is carved from Black Walnut. After carving, it is hand sanded and stained several times to get the specified color. The crew names are engraved on black plastic plates, and the top flourish and emblem, and main engraved text, are gilded with 24K gold leaf.
