This is a custom carved photo board for the Sailor of the Quarter for the the US Coast Guard Cutter David Duren, WPC-1179. The board is made of Redwood. The text is engraved, and the USCG Seal and ship crest are carved in 2.5-D multi-level raised relief. The Cost Guard emblem is carved in 3-D bas-relief. The sailor's name and rating is engraved on a replaceable plate. This and similar award boards can be ordered in any size from 30 inches to 96 inches wide.
