"Sailor-of-the-Quarter" Award Board for the US Coast Guard Cutter William Hart
This is a carved Mahogany "Sailor of the Quarter" Award Board made for the US Coast Guard Cutter William Hart. The Mahogany is stained and digitally printed giclee vinyl appliques for the USCG Seal and the Ship's Crest are mounted at the base of the plaque. These were too small to carve and hand-paint accurately. The plaque is clear-coated twice. The slide-in holders enabling easy change-out of engraved brass plates with the names of sailors. This award board is suitable for both inside and outside locations. Award Boards with this and similar styles can be ordered in any size from 24 inches to 48 inches wide.
