Plaque Listing Students in the Fairfax Criminal Justice Academy, with Motto "Set the Standard, Hold the Standard"

This is a carved rectangular   board made for the Fairfax Criminal Justice Academy, where students are taught to become Police or Sheriff officers.  This plaque is made from natural cedar wood, which provides a rich, warm reddish-brown grain background. The motto and text, "Cadre" and "Session 91" text are raised above the background. The police badge and  the sheriff star badge emblems are elevated and carved in multi-layers,  and artist brush painted with long lasting sign enamels. Engraved brass plates show the names of students, which can be easily changed with each new class. The board is framed with a raised cedar border and finished with a clear-coat sealant. It is suitable for indoor locations and it and similar plaques can be ordered in any size from 24 inches to 96  inches in width.
