Meritorious Unit Citation Plaque
This Meritorious Unit Citation plaque honors units of the US Navy which have provided meritorious service to our country. This Western Red Cedar wood plaque has carved borders and raised text which is painted black. The pennant is raised above the background and painted in bright long-lasting sign enamels. The wood is clear coated twice. It can be mounted outside even in a maritime environment. This plaque is given to each unit honored for least one year. Each year that the unit is awarded this designation, it is engraved on a brass plate.
