This plaque honors Sailors of the Quarter for the US Coast Guard Station Marquette. This Western Red Cedar wood plaque has carved borders and raised text which is painted black. The wood is clear coated twice. Each sailor's name and rating is engraved on a brass plate, along with the dates he/she was honored as Sailor of the Quarter. This plaque covers a 7 year period. New awardee names are added each quarter. The US Coast Guard Seal and ship crest are printed on giclee long-lasting sign vinyl and mounted on a raised round platform.
