Dr. Cheryl Burnette, Chairperson of the Board, Co-Owner
Dr. Burnette is one of the founders and principal owners of Art Sign Works, Inc., and is serving as Chairperson of the Board. She also consults on marketing efforts. Cheryl has had a distinguished career in several fields. She has four degrees; a B.A., a M.S., a Ph.D., and a O.D. (Doctor of Optometry). She was a Human Factors Engineer for the US Navy and Dept of Transportation the first half of her career, and then went back to school to become an eye doctor. She was a successful optometrist for twenty years, and is now retired from that profession. Her experience in both human vision (sign attention-getting and readability) from both her human factors career and her optometry career has been very useful to Art Sign Works in guiding good sign design. She approves all of our new products for customer acceptance, and directs web site content and advertising campaigns. She has a great sense of style and color, and is always looking for elegant and classy artwork to incorporate into our signs and plaques. . Cheryl is a principal shareholder in Art Sign Works, Inc. and has been married to Paul Williamson for the past 23 years.
