WM1235 - Memorial Plaque, World War II, Personalized, Engraved Natural Mahogany
This WW II memorial plaque for a Medal of Honor awardee is made from African Mahogany. After carving, it is hand sanded and stained one or more times to get the specified color, which can range from light to very dark, depending upon which of the 24 Minwax color stains is used. The photo and insignia are digitally printed giclee appliques. The text is engraved on brass plates. The plaque is then clear-coated twice with Matthews clear polyurethane acrylic .
